The 9 to 5 life has been parodied throughout countless films. From toxic bosses to downright ridiculous workplaces, only a select few movies understood the assignment of convincing their audiences to leave their jobs. The Devil Wears Prada is one of the most famous flicks that showcases a boss with over-the-top expectations and a stressful office environment, only to end with Anne Hathaway‘s character doing the right thing — leaving.
Adventure movies, however, might do the trick instead. Films like Wild and Thelma & Louise can motivate viewers to see how traveling is far more fulfilling than wasting 10 hours per day in an office.
