Jimmy Carter’s daughter, Amy, stayed away from the limelight for most of her life. See photos of her over the years.
Amy Carter, daughter of the late former President Jimmy Carter, managed to keep a low profile since her father’s presidency. After Jimmy’s term came to an end in 1981, Amy slowly stepped back from the limelight that comes with being a public figure. She later married and had children of her own.
In December 2024, Amy mourned the loss of her late father, who died when he was 100 years old. The following month, the country bid farewell to Jimmy during his January 2025 funeral in Washington D.C.
