Before there was Chappell Roan, there was Kayleigh Rose Amstutz from Missouri, whose music career began after she took piano lessons as a child. Throughout her teen years, Chappell gradually earned recognition by labels when she traveled to New York for several musical showcases and events, where she showed off her powerful and unique vocals.
Upon garnering attention for the release of her 2017 single “Good Hurt,” Chappell’s music career steadily grew. By 2024, her festival performances gained even more traction for her signature colorful outfits and makeup.
