The iHeartRadio Music Awards recognized music’s biggest talents of the year. From the Icon Award to the Innovator Award, the annual event took place at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, where the Academy Awards took place just weeks prior.
Lady Gaga was presented with the Innovator Award, while Mariah Carey was bestowed with the Icon Award. Both artists delivered thankful acceptance speeches at the March 17, 2025, ceremony. And they, of course, didn’t disappoint with their red carpet style.

Lady Gaga was given the iHeartRadio Innovator Award onstage and reflected on her career, which is “just getting warmed up,” she said during her speech.
“Winning an award honoring my entire career at 38 years old is a hard thing to get my head around,” Gaga said. “On the one hand, I feel like I’ve been doing this forever. On the other hand, I know I’m just getting started. Even though the world might consider a woman in her late 30s old for a pop star — which is insane — I promise that I’m just getting warmed up.”
