Val Kilmer was more than just his impressive acting career; he was also a proud father of two.
Val Kilmer was not only a talented actor with an illustrious career but also a devoted father to his two children. The star, known for his leading roles in Top Gun and Batman Forever, married actress Joanne Whalley in 1988 after they met while working together on the movie Willow. They would collaborate again in 1989 on Kill Me Again. During their marriage, they had two children: Jack Kilmer, born in 1995, and Mercedes Kilmer, born in 1991. Despite their divorce in 1996, the couple remained professionally connected, starring together in Played in 2006 and the horror film Twixt in 2011.
Val’s family stood by him through difficult times, including his battle with throat cancer, which permanently affected his voice and his acting career.
